Step 1: Enter Required Inputs
- Weight (kg): Enter the patient’s current weight in kilograms.
- Dose (ng/kg/min): Enter the patient’s prescribed home Remodulin dose (in ng/kg/min).
- Vial Concentration (mg/mL): Select the concentration of the Remodulin vial you are using (options: 1, 2.5, 5, or 10 mg/mL).
- Bag Volume (mL): Enter the size of the diluent bag you are preparing (e.g., 50 mL, 100 mL).
- Target 24 h Volume (mL): Enter the expected total volume to be infused over 24 hours for the patient’s current dose.
Step 2: Click “Calculate Recommended”
- The calculator will automatically generate a Recommended infusion setup based on your entries.
Note:
After generating the recommended setup, you can also enter a new alternative concentration on the right side to quickly calculate an Alternative option.
This is useful if you want to adjust concentrations to better match pump programming or institutional preferences.
